Your blog is pretty interesting to me and your topics are very relevant. I was browsing around and came across something you might find interesting. I was guilty of 3 of them with my sites. "99% of website owners are doing these 5 mistakes". http://is.gd/8kynyd You will be suprised how simple they are to fix.

I love audio books. I often listen to the audio book first and if it has some killer information I check out the psychical book after. oh and when I have long flights and car drives I pop in an audio book. Good stuff Vinay!

Hey Jennie! Thanks for stopping by. I can totally relate to falling down the rabbit hole of a fascinating topic. It happens to me all the time - however I learn best by applying so I use a good power hour or two to bring me back to earth and work to creating vs. consuming. Glad you liked the advice!

Good tips. I have read lots about this topic. Recently I have found myself spending 90% of my time on output instead of consumption, which is how it should be. Setting yourself goals helps lots. And making sure you get what you need done first also helps.

A few tips I use:

1. Switched from written books to audio books. This means I can watch audio while I work out.

2. Watch videos while doing mundane work like link building, while eating and also while working out (push-ups, dun bells, sit ups)

This means I can still consume information but Im killing two things at once so makes me feel a little more productive :P

I love the idea of the Power Hour, especially with your clarification: "the rest of the day is dedicated to creating, applying, and making mistakes." I can easily fall down the rabbit hole when I'm learning about something that fascinates me. Adding this discipline to my day will make a big difference. Thanks for the great advice!
